After more than 20 years I decided it was time to remove my wood shake roof and replace it with CertainTeed Presidential TL Solaris asphalt shingles. I contacted several Roofing contractors for quotes and information on their Company. I met with Issac Salem with Equinox Roofing Solutions in Walnut Creek and was immediately impressed. Issac was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions and even took me to see a couple of jobs Equinox was in process with nearby in my neighborhood. Issac worked up an estimate that included the roof and some wood trim that needed care. Issac’s proposal was very detailed and specific as to the materials and the overall scope of the project Once we agreed, Issac started the process of the job. Issac also kept me up to date on this process. Once the work began with the demolition, I met the Equinox crew and immediately saw that they were very well trained and conducted themselves in a diligent workmanlike manner. Each of them demonstrated their job knowledge and knew exactly what they were doing. They arrived on time and cleaned up every day. I was and am very impressed with the crew. As the job progressed, Issac kept me informed as to the status of process daily. I found that his word is as good as gold and completed the job with everything Issac had promised fulfilled. Getting a new roof is a pretty big investment, so I got a few estimates before deciding on Equinox. Isaac took his time explaining everything and didn’t make me feel pressured at all. He was easy to reach, answered all my questions, and kept me updated while the work was going on. The crew did a really good job and were careful around the plants and everything outside the house. They also cleaned up really well after finishing and made sure there weren’t nails left all over the place. The new downspouts and gutter caps came out great too. From start to finish, Equinox Roofing was an absolute pleasure to work with. They came out for a free estimate and spent a great deal of time walking us through the entire reroofing process without any pressure. The communication was fantastic throughout the project, and our project manager was incredibly responsive to all our questions. They worked efficiently and what really stood out to us was how clean they kept the area around the house; at the end of each day, everything was picked up. The project moved along smoothly and was completed within the timeframe we were given. The finished result looks absolutely fantastic, and we are thrilled with the quality. For a full roof replacement, the pricing felt very fair for the level of quality and service we received.
