Having a melted membrane on top of your commercial roof creates an airtight seal, which is one great way to prevent roof leaks. Self-adhesives used during the installation of other flat roofs can sometimes become loose or wear off, whereas a torch-down roof will last for quite a while.

The materials used for a torch-down roof are lightweight, and when combined with the air-tight seal created from the blow torch process, you can expect A+ insulation.
