Ben was accommodating and easy to work with, even when we encountered surprises requiring more work (and more budget). The crew was prompt and pleasant and they cleaned up after themselves when work was complete. Ben also made a point to meet with me and walk the roof and answer my questions when it was all said and done. I highly recommend Ben and Equinox for your next roofing project!

I contacted 3 roofing companies to provide quotes for a full roof replacement of my 23 year+ roof. All came in at about the same price. I selected Equinox because Ben was significantly more thorough in his inspection of my home. What this … More meant was the quote he provided accurately reflected what actually needed to be done. There were no surprises. The other companies would have either had to add on cost at the end of the project or would have done subpar work. Also, (having already done the research myself), I knew the products he suggested were of excellent quality. Ben provided an honest assessment, provided options and explained the different pros/cons for each choice. There was no pressure. Throughout the project, Ben maintained regular contact and set expectations. The crew was amazingly fast and efficient. The roof looks great! I have already referred one friend to Equinox for their new roof and have no hesitancy in referring anyone else. This was the first time I contracted for a major renovation by myself. Working with Ben at Equinox was a breeze.

I called EQUINOX after meeting with 3 other Roofing companies because we needed our roof completely replaced. (We've owned our house since 1999 and of course, the Home Owner Insurance company's are going to cover themselves and … More require, our roof to get completely replaced in order for them to Renew my policy.) I met with their Representative Ben. From our initial meet, he was great! He got on the roof, walked me through everything, pointed out thing's that had nothing to do with the roofing but, replacing it would benefit Us and the Family long term. (It was just good info he wanted to share.) After meeting with 3 other roofing companies, Ben was thee best!! He spent the time to go into detail of "why" different procedures with the roof take place. I walked away from our meeting feeling great. Two other roofing companies were alot cheaper BUT, Ben did such an awesome job with helping Us understand, just what a roof replacement would need for it to withstand weather and anything else, longevity wise. We were sold. We, like many, don't have thousands of dollars saved and yes, replacing a roof is costly BUT, as a Home owner, we know, that comes with being blessed with owning a home. It took some week's to get the money together but, I knew, my husband and I would only use EQUINOX, due to all of Ben's hard work in sharing what replacing the roof would entail. The very FIRST day, the EQUINOX Team came out and worked so hard and efficient on the demolition. They left front, back and the the side of our yard, completely CLEAN with no trash left on the site. The job took 3 day's and not 3 8hr day's. They were so good at what they do and did. The last day, Alfredo (crew member) answered ALL of the question's I had and in detail (Thank You!). Ben came out to do the final inspection and my husband and I are so GRATEFUL for EQUINOX'S Team's hard work, Integrity and Ben's dedication and follow-ups to see the job get completed in a timely manner.●IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO GET YOUR ROOF, REPAIRED, REPLACED or anything having to do with a roof, EQUINOX is definitely, worth your financial investment. Ben and his team were very professional and accountable throughout the entire process from generating a formal quote to completing the last touches of installation of a replacement roof for our detached garage and office (during one of … More the craziest rainstorms that CA has ever seen!). Ben paid careful attention to weather patterns and managed to bring his team to our house with extreme short notice when he saw a window of opportunity to work between rainstorms - he called me the night before to ask if it was ok for his team to come over the next morning to complete the job start to finish, showed up as planned, and completed the entire job just after the sunset. Job included removing a 30yr old roof (3 layers of shingles on a pitched roof and a single layer of flat torch-down roof), cutting out and replacing rotten beams, applying a layer of plywood over all roof surfaces, installing shingles and torch-down flat roof, installed new aluminum gutters all around with 3 downspouts. The work started and ended on time, although there was an unexpected difficulty involving rotten wood that caused a good deal of extra work and required a change order. The repair was exemplary!
The Equinox workers were on time every day, and thoroughly cleaned up every day what little mess they created. Mikey visited the jobsite regularly, and was constantly on top of what the workers were doing. The level of communication with Mikey was truly exceptional.
When the roofing was completed, we could see why Equinox is "the most trusted roofing company in the Bay Area". They certainly have our trust, and our highest recommendation! -

We had a serious roof leak a couple years … More ago, and they were able to replace the roof as well as the shingles in 4 days. Fast forward to this week, where a seal in one of our skylights got a slight crack from the cold weather. Ben was able to come by the next afternoon and re-seal the skylight in 20 minutes.
