Our roof replacement process is a multi-step process that begins with a thorough inspection of your existing roof. Once the condition of the roof is assessed, the next step is to remove the old roofing material. This is done by carefully removing each shingle or piece of sheet metal, starting at the edge of the roof and working up. Once the old roofing material is removed, any damaged plywood or other sheathing will be replaced. The next step is to install a new underlayment, which is a layer of protective material that is placed over the sheathing. After the underlayment is in place, the new roofing material can be installed. This may be done by nailing shingles in place or by installing a new sheet of metal. Finally, the roof area around the chimney and vents will be sealed, and flashing installed to prevent leaks.
